Club Hunkydory Update

Hi everyone,

Just a quick announcement to let you know that the wait is almost over; Club Hunkydory will be launched on 3rd June 2013!

We’re sorry you’ve had a wait longer than expected; we just couldn’t wait to tell you about our wonderful new club!

Some of you may have already seen the sneak peeks of the exclusive Members’ Free Gift, which is called Dragonfly Dance. It’s so beautiful! There are some sneak peeks in Project Magazine Issue 11, and we’ll share some more photos with you next week.

Not long to go now – it’s going to be well worth the wait!

POW Decadent Days Show Times

Hi everyone,

We hope you are all exited for our Pick of the Week! We have had some great feedback about Decadent Days on Facebook, and it’s nice to know you all love the art deco theme!

The shows are going to be great, I’ll be kicking off the POW launch earlier than usual at 8am, so don’t forget to set your alarms! I’ll be handing the POW baton to Ruth, who will then be followed by Phill for the final shows. I’m sure that you will all agree it’ll be great to have Phill back on our screens!

Flutterbye Wishes - Birthday Cheer

You will need:
•Heartfelt Sentiments Apeture Card Kit
•Silver Mirri Card
•Curly Whirly Luxury Embossed Card - Sweet Lilac
•7” x 7” Card Blank - Cotton White

1. Cut the front off the circle aperture card and press out the centre to use on another project.

2. Matt and layer the card blank to Mirri card, adding the Birthday Cheer

3. Make up the decoupage flowers and butterflies and position them on the front.

4. Cover the front of the white card blank with the embossed card, leaving a small border showing all round.

5. Use foam pads to glue the decoupage card in place.

What a week!

Hi everyone,

What a busy week it’s been for me! My week started by preparing demonstrations for our Hobbies and Pastimes POD shows, before driving down to Peterborough to the Ideal World studios on Tuesday.

The POD shows continued on Wednesday, and if you watched the shows you’ll know how much fun I had. I received so many lovely comments from our fans, and it sounds like so many of you really enjoyed the Hobbies and Pastimes shows, so thank you for watching. I guest presented eight shows on Wednesday, with the last one being at 7pm on Ideal World. After the show I hopped in the car and headed back to (not so sunny) Preston!

I’m back in the office today and plans for the Great British Craft Festival are really coming together. I’m currently co-ordinating the workshops and we are making decisions about who to get on board to host workshop number 4. If you have any ideas, or would like to see someone in particular please get in touch on Facebook. We’d love to know what you think!

Once the workshops are confirmed I’ll then begin organising the Make and Takes, which is always really exciting as I like to choose a wide range of craft activities to take place throughout the day. This way everyone gets to learn something different!

We are also preparing for our next product launch which will be Pick of the Week on Create and Craft on Friday 24th May. The new collection is called Decadent Days and many of you may have seen the sneak peek in the new Project Magazine Issue 11. If not, I promise to share some photos with you next week!
